Tuontiteräksen sääntely uudistuu vaiheittain vuonna 2026
Vuosi 2026 tuo muutoksia teräksen tuontiin EU:n ulkopuolelta. EU:n hiilirajamekanismi siirtyi 1.1.2026 maksulliseen vaiheeseen, ja samanaikaisesti teräksen tuontikiintiöihin on esitetty muutoksia. Muutosten vaikutukset tarkentuvat sääntelyn edetessä. Feon on varautunut tilanteeseen vaihtoehtoisin hankintasuunnitelmin.
